Leah and Raphael are cousins who grew up together in France, but their lives took very different turns. While Leah moved to Israel and joined the IDF, Raphael converted to Islam and joined ISIS. Today, Leah continues to protect her beloved Israel, but her cousin didn’t fare so well… he died during a bombing in Syria.
Here, Leah holds the picture of her cousin right after he joined ISIS. Her cousin found only hate and death, but Leah found love. “I am a Jew and an Israeli, this is my home,” she said.
